By collaborating with a broad network of employment support services, they simplify recruitment by acting as a single point of contact, connecting businesses with a diverse pool of job-ready candidates while supporting the professional growth of Haringey residents.

The Specialist Team- Provide specialist areas of advice and support to the most vulnerable residents in Haringey. The team is made up of individuals with specialist knowledge of resident groups and finding creative solutions to support Haringey residents into employment.

David is a committed Substance Misuse Employment Advisor with the IPS Team at Haringey Works. With a focus on supporting individuals in recovery from substance misuse, he provides one-to-one guidance to help clients find and maintain employment. From assisting with CV writing and interview preparation to offering advice on workplace challenges, David ensures clients are fully supported every step of the way by working with each person to identify their strengths and connect them to training, job opportunities, and the resources they need to succeed in the workplace. Employment Advisor – Youth

Luqman specialises in helping job seekers access opportunities in the construction industry. He provides CV support, job search and application assistance, and training coordination to ensure residents obtain the necessary certifications for their careers. Additionally, he works with contractors to help them meet Section 106 obligations by facilitating the recruitment of apprentices, local employment opportunities, work experience, and placements. He also organises site visits to give residents valuable industry exposure.

Senior Resident Engagement Advisor

Responsible to lead the Local Candidate Sourcing and Opportunity Service as a viable option for local skilled residents. Proactively recruiting Haringey residents to join the Haringey Works talent pool and to register interest in working for the Council on a temporary basis. Responsible for Shortlisting candidates and further Match appropriate candidates in the talent pool to live opportunities, working closely with HR (Human Resources) and relevant service areas to understand their temporary worker requirements. First point of contact to all the Hiring Managers and Team Leaders to meet their Recruitment needs for their wide range of services.

Resident Engagement Advisor

Devise administrative systems that maintain the Talent Pool with a continuous good supply of candidates and CVs in line with the Council’s temporary worker requirements. Network, promote and market the service to residents. Carry out ID and Right to Work, references checks on residents who have registered an interest in working for the Council on a temporary basis. Search the Talent Pool for appropriate CVs to meet the temporary worker requirements. Assist SREA.
